i base mi sen in whitby at mi dads cottage then i drive all up and down the coast looking for the best spots (not saying how i do that find the spot)
i may go for the day week end week i dont know yet
depends how well i feel

its not that far from whitby north jordy land to Bamburgh castle
ya have to check to see ifs its not a protected or issi site

Other than that, a spa day/weekend would be good. Or a shopping weekend somewhere maybe. Theatre stay in London or similar?
