How much and where?

Hi all,

I'm due to pick up my '92 2.4 Surf next week (just been imported) , I thought I'd have the cam belt changed and a service done. Any idea what I'd have to pay for a cam belt change? Also anyone know of any Surf/Import friendly places in the north M25/Herts area?

Hi Paul

You shouldnt need to go to an import friendly garage as the same basic engine is used in many uk vehicles. The cam belt is not a hard job to do so if you are capable with a spanner or two just do it yourself, even if you cant do the belt a service is not at all difficult!!
If you just plain dont do getting hands dirty you should have no problems finding a garage that can do it for you!!
