There is a knack to it.........er........you have to take the whole dash off!

It's easier than it sounds. Try a search in the tech electrical as it has been covered many times. A little tip from me is do it on the warmest day possible. I had the dash apart on the hottest day last year and didn't break a single clip. I did it again in Janauary and brke loads.

    Best of luck!
    It's only a hobby!

You have to lower the lower half of the dash sort of. Start at the left. When I did it I didnt actually remove anything, just dropped the lower half a bit.

Here you go. It's for LHD 4runner so you might need a mirror but the principle is the same!! Dash has to come off.

Don't worry too much, armed with the right info (which you now are) its actually a very easy and fairly quick job to do.
