Because other people on here are insured through them. But they told me they 'don't touch imports'. It doesn't make sense.

"Ah good, we can't insure them unless they are modified."
"I know."
"What vehicle is it?"

"Ah. We can't touch imported Japanese vehicles sorry. Is there anything else I can help you with?"
"But I'm in an owners club, several members have their Surfs insured through you"
"Sorry Sir, they can't be insured through us, we don't insure imported vehicles"
"Oh, OK. Bye."

And don't get me started with Flux. They want £700 to swap my Surf insurance to the Lexus. Go figure that one out!

Seems to me Andy there all the same mate, just depends who ya speak to n if they know the business product your actually talking about !!
It's all the about making money ....
I'm with L V (14 years now) they don't do imports nowadays either !! eh

Sky insurance best quote for me had number plate recognition software, knew date of import the lot £325 fully comp protected. When i insured the second surf (ssrg) I used Noel Dazely insurance £195 fully comp 6k miles per annum plus mods etc

Andy, Brian1975 has insurance with Pickles, and I filled in the on-line form with them and got a quote of 189.82. (Haven't gone ahead with it yet though.

Is a bit strange Andy, was my good lady that made the call (maybe that`s the trick), fella took all the details of the truck with all mod`s declared, gave the quote and we took it.
They were also told it was an import, try it online and see how you go with that mate. If that fail`s mate i`ll give them a bell to recommend ya and to give you a call for a quote.
