  • First flying lesson

Have my first (probably of many) flying lesson on Saturday (weather depending)! I would avoid Biggin Hill area to be on the safe side.
Going to discuss Heli's when I'm there but they seem way to expensive to learn
    I like heli's...

oh by the way, I'm being taught by an instructor in a plane. Not by big bird from Sesame Street!
    Oh Nana, what's my name?

Just a thought but do all your basic quals on fixed wing and then you can have a head start if you want to go rotary, get some hours in first though

I once went up in a glider, loved it, shat mi pants when the pilot told me to take control for 5 minutes.

                  Have fun mate.

HAHA Yes choppers! I thought you would comment that way Andy, so I did my best to word it so you wouldn't. Guess I failed!

Thanks for the comment and info John! That seems a good idea!

When I was in high school, my friend there used to learn jet powered choppers with his dad. Sounded a lot of fun. I can barely remember having a fly around Scotland in a chopper when I was about 4.

I'll let you know how it goes!

First thing I'm doing when I win the euromillions is popping down to Wallop and seeing how much it will take to make a Lynx 'disappear'

Is that another way of saying you're buying one?

while in the army i liked choppers more than planes.

not sure if i liked the gazelle, lynx or puma better....

                              lynx's were nippy!

then a chinook landed in the heli base in northern ireland and someone forgot to open the access gates beforehand.....gates got ripped from hinges.
