Maybe I'll enter mine in one of these show 'n' shine exhibitions next year. Should be totally finished by then, new paint, wheels, tyres, interior, bodywork, dash.
I WILL be off-roading it too by the way.

We were camped just in the corner by the entrance to the off-road course. Got stuck in the lake/mud about a minute after entering the off road bit! Oops!

                It was great fun though...

                    I have a question.....

The only convertions I've seen for Ford V6 don't fit the Surf 5speed, only the mk2 pickup 5speed same as the Rover conversions.

My V8 munched 3 of these gearboxes in one summer of daily driving and offroading as they are very weak compared to the Surf gearbox, has he found an adapter for the stronger surf boxes?

I ended up fitting a B/W auto from a SD1 and adapted it to fit a Toy transfer case!

I though Milners stopped making the adapter kits anyway?

was more of a statement than a question

do have one tho..do most people run 2WD with these trucks.? Does the adapter plate not fit the stock auto's.?

Ooh not sure on that one Tony he just told me he bought the kit including engine mounts from Milners. I'll see him again in 2 weeks at the UK truck show. I'll find out some more details. He also bought new gears for the rear diff so yes and no to 4 wheel drive. Yes it is still 4 wheel drive and no he can't use it untill he does the front diff.
