I have just collected another 3.0l and took the ecu out and put straight into the truck i bought from Madison and she fired up first time.Just got to sort a couple of bits out and then its up for sale once mot'd
The old ecu was one from the ECU Doc.I also tried that ecu in the truck i just bought aswell and it is deffo the ecu knackered

yea the ecu on madisons truck was from the ecu doc and it isn't working at all.I tried it in the truck i just bought to double check and it wouldn't fire up that truck either

i don't know when it was repaired but theres is the ecu doc sticker on the ecu and saying that the warrenty is void if ecu is opened

We used the ECU doctor (Plymouth) when the Ecu went t*ts up on our Galaxy.
Found his service tip top,his charge was cheap,and the old girl fired fired up no problem at all.

Just looked at the ecu and it is one from the guy in Devon so i will ring them tomorrow.

i have just driven the truck home and it drives great.I got a couple of bits to sort out on it before selling it but that won't take to long.
Threre is some laquer peeling on the n/s rear panel and the top of the tailgate and also the roof but i have found this is quite popular on the burgundy trucks for some reason.
I am getting it mot'd this week then i will place an ad in the right place once its ready.

this truck is booked in for MOT wednesday at 0930 and from what i can see it should go through ok.Once mot'd i am taking up to South Crofty Tin Mine as they are interested in it for another vehicle for the mine.I have a 2.4 aswell i am hoping to get another engine fitted this week and then that one will be taken up to the Mine aswell to see if they want it

If i can repair them and get them on the road cheap enough i will as it is a shame to break them up.I just need to get the engine swap done on the 2.4 and that will be up for grabs then aswell.
I went to the unit last night and a guy had his son there looking over his boat.They were asking about the 3.0l truck and then took the truck for a test drive and wants first refusal on it tomorrow after the mot so that was great.If i hadn't gone to the unit last night i wouldn't of got the guy interested in the truck

The truck flew through the mot and 2 advisories which were both front wheel bearings have very slight play but nothing to worry about.
I am now waiting for a call from the Mining Company to let me know if they want it or not and if not then its up for sale on here and ebay.I will put a thread up in the for sale section as soon as i know whats happening
