Why isent my 4-runner selling?

Bad time of the year to sell a 4x4?
i paid 1700 for it 2mnths ago with little mot just re mot'd, put bullbars on, got it into a good order cost me over 2000 in 2mnths
and its at 1250!!!!! what have i done wrong

Clean it and update the pics, you'd be amazed what difference it makes.
That'd be a good start I think.

Maybe add some seat covers to hide any damage?

Exactly. Clean it up (supermarket own brand furniture polish/kitchen cleaner/window cleaner is a good cheap alternative to the stuff you buy in Halfords!), give it a full valet (vacuum all the carpets, etc) and then take some good photos.

Would you bother bidding on a vehicle when the person selling didn't even pick the rubbish up from the floor? What else does that say about the person who looked after the vehicle?

If you don't sell it this time (looking at the fact you have a bid on it I guess it's a bit late for this info) but make sure you list things to finish on a Sunday evening cos people will see it appearing at the top of their searches over the weekend that it finishes.

I suspect that the best time for selling a 4x4 is during the worst of the snow we had earlier this year!

and as everyone says, the photos put it in a bad light.

Seriously, clean it, take pics on a sunny day, you're supposed to put the elbow grease in, not tell buyers to! lol.

And maybe move it away from the LR, its making it look small.

Beer cans in the gutter and footwells ain't going to impress anyone...

id put an add in, for my 2.4, approx 1.5k, which im not selling yet.....
