  • Pattern front bumper - any good?

Anyone bought one of these pattern part chrome front bumpers for a 2nd gen?

    http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=154&vid=1534

If so, are they any good?

PS: How difficult is it to change front bumpers?

Bought one from milners 2 1/2 years ago has been fine. I did etch prime and waxoil the inside of it before fitting.

Hardest bit was drilling the holes for the arch trims to fit into.

Get a proper bumper made up, me and yoshie will soon be doing some nice Surf bolt on tube bumpers, you can have a stinger loop, spot brackets, alloy infills, anything you like.

        Prices to be confirmed.

Wow Alan, people must really like the bumper as everyone has posted a picture of it in their reply!

Oh and by the way my Milners bumper has tiny rust spots all over it. I painted the back with Hammerite but it looks like very thin chrome and it's surface rust. Might just be bad luck on my part though.

                    Rear one is in development.

Pics of bumpers will be up as soon as yoshie gets back from holiday and starts fabbing, we have the tube and bender waiting.
