puking oil!

morning all.
please can someone advise me on this one.
i've started to leak oil from the overflow pipe from the oil filter catch tray. from what i've read it sounds like would be caused by a loose filter but it seems to be tight.

is there anything else it could be?

It may be tight but its also possible that the seal was not seated correctly when originally fitted, or dirt may have been present on either the seal or the mating surfaces, either way a quick removal of the filter, wipe and check of the seal before refitting should hopefully cure or at least reveal the problem.

after washing it last night i have just started her up and there's a hole in the side of the oil filter!
new filter kit on the way from milners.

glad it's nothing more serious.
