LOL yup been there done that, white rice if it gets too hot mate, plain boiled rice, mops out the heat and gives your ass a chance in the morning LOL

Water just spreads the heat so does larger lol

Milk/yogurt kills a spicey curry aftertaste. No idea why but it does.
Digestive biscuits work reasonably well too. No idea why for that either.
