                    a certain member on here had a j plate 90 with a 2.5 na diesel and a rotten chassis and bulk head and he gave it away for £1600

                      Great if you're one of those people with no right arm or just drive in summer with the window down. Stupid bl00dy machines.

                      Good for those who like to wear one thick sock on their right foot, and a barefoot sandal on their left too.

                      And an absolute must for those whose journeys are all less than a few miles.

                          Definatly aggree Vince, the defender's long and short are the best of the landrover bunch, done care for discos, rangerovers, free landers etc, but the basic land rover (old series and defender) has something about it i like,
                          bit like a 2nd WW Willies jeep, basic and fun, (saw a nice jeep at asda's a while back, drab paint, jerry can and shovel, beautiful!!!
                          Too young to die and too old to give a toss

                            My cousin has one of these Jeeps Ian and its a fantastic motor.Its fully restored and only sees the light of day if its brilliant sunshine

                              always wanted one, the one i saw was restored to US army original, in fact there are several guys round here into that, one has a red cross land rover and i've seen a US truck, 10 ton chevy (i think)
