Hey Vince are you sure? I know the 2.4s are 32mm. According to this catalogue the 3Ltr are also 32mm.

Just want confirmation. I have never measured the 3Ltr radiator inlet and outlet.

100% sure Nev. I have both rads here at the moment, 2.4s are 32mm, 3.0s are 38mm.
Maybe, if Toyota had fitted the 3.0 rads to the 2.4s at production, there wouldn't be so many cracked heads. (They would have had to relocate the A/C rad and fans though)

You might need to earth the inline thingy, mine came with a screw and tapping, also fitting it in the top hose lets ya see when the stat opens.
