  • Recommend me a good gauge and sender

    for temp on truck.

    I was thinking of fitting a unit into top rad hose, any suggestions?

                I don't need race spec gauges, just something more reliable than the Surf one.

                  I put a tim gauge in my 2.4, seems to work ok.... I think on the 3.0 you'd need to drill and tap the outlet from the head to the top hose to fit the sender unit. I'm sure it's been documented here before.

                        I have found these inline sender housings in loads of sizes, need to go out and measure the hose ID to get the right one ordered.
