How the hell do you rip a winch bumper off???

I've seen truck part at the chassis, before the bumper comes off, there is about 5 solid bolts per side holding it on.

The truck was being recovered with a bungee, the truck moutings never failed, the bumper mounting points ripped. Looked like one went forcing all the load to the other end.

It was lucky it never hit anyone or the 90 that was pulling it

Not £2500 with the dodgy paintjob covering up the filled, rotted door bottoms!

I think that's a bit out of order, without a proper evaluation of the actual damage. I've seen it, not too bad, pretty easy fix.

If I can be of any help ferrying a Surf or storing one for a short while for you just let me know. I've got tons of time on my hands at the moment (on the rock n roll so no job to worry about!) and if I can be of any help I'll see what I can do.

Wow, It wasn't altered for a body lift was it? Still pretty amazed a branded winch bumper failed.

Also another reason why I never liked kinetic ropes, they are scary, give me a winch every time.

A mate actually twisted a Jeep chassis using one.
