  • Shiney surf

Had the little key marks, tree marks, and things all buffed out and a real good polish up, ready for the shiney rims when they turn up.
I'm propper skint, get paid Friday but that's spent.. All fun though. I look forward to lifting it within the next 3 weeks or so
I'm having a hard time getting hold or BF Goodrich tyres.. Has anyone else heard of them no longer conforming to noise regulations?? Price seems to vary from £120 - £200 per tyre, and apparently they arn't all that anymore, according to a local 4x4 tyre specialist??

Anyhow, here's a couple of pics- it was getting dark, but more to follow when the lift has started

Thanks and Sorry about the spelling mistake. I seem to be getting lazier as I get older! Where would I be without the forum keeping me in line!

I've had those wheels (and tyres) for over 3 years, since I bought Javars truck. They do look nice if they were shiny / restored. I was looking into that.

Ive recently bought another set of 3rd gen wheels to be powder coated & some nice new rubber to go on them but still not got round to it yet, need to sort it soon cos my old tyres are nearly at the limit.

                    Thanks for the comments

I was thinking about putting on some propper wax to add some layer of protection. I don't want to be driving anywhere that trees and things can scratch it

Has anyone heard of victoria wax? http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/vi.../prod_309.html

To be honest, you'd be wasting your money using that on paintwork thats at least 15 years old by now.
Those coloured T-cut/polish products work just as well IMO and give the same water beading properties. (well it does when I use it anyway)

Is that what you have been rubbing on your car? How is that working for you?

                              Very coarse I would imagine.
