  • Freight Charges.....

    Dont know if this is any help to anyone with larger stuff to send / receive, it shows unladen/partially filled vehicles available as well as routes for pickup drop off all over Europe uk/ Ireland and some of the bids you get back for your freight arent that bad. http://www.freightalerts.co.uk/haula...lage=2&view=2# ......(similar to U-ship i suppose), getting quoted between 150-200 GBP (the sensible ones), for a pallet (about 120/100/100 cm weight max 150Kg), getting sent over here with the best ones being;

    www.ParcelBroker.co.uk

    www.bpsworldcargo.co.uk

    www.viadefero.co.uk

    Anyone know of any other ones that are worth a try?

    Ta as always!

      Might do to keep an eye on the freight site Rich as there is a couple of runs out by the looks of things (east coast unfortunately tho),
      Parcel brokers (Gregg) arent too bad as they do parts of a pallet if you know what i mean! i.e quarter/half/full also it might be worth asking Don at the Via defaro link as they have a run out on sunday going through france to Italy (not the cheapest but might do?) Also waiting to hear back from these folk http://www.chilterntransport.co.uk/delivery_area.htm.
      As you said it might be worth driving for them but its just too far for me and i dont have the time (even with a 200 pound quote its still cheaper than getting them locally..looking for about 600 Euro's new even with tax off) Just for an idea http://www.cos-met.it/gomme.htm
