I spent yesterday evening dismantling the filter system on the pond and gave everything a good clean out ready to be collected today with the koi.The guy from Dover was meant to ring last night to confirm he was coming down today to collect the filter system and fish but he never rang up.So over night the pond is now a right mess with no UV light and filter system and as i haven't heard anything from this guy i have now got to set everything up again and get the pond clear again.I had to dismantle evrything last night as we wouldnt of had time today to do it alll and clean it all out as its dads 65th birthday today aswell and we're all off out later with all the family as a surprise for him

Cheers Andy.Its going to take a couple of days to get the pond clear again tho.It pee's me off that people can't just spend 10p on a text or quick call to cancel.Even if the guy turns up i still won't be to happy as he was still meant to ring but at least if he did turn up everything would be taken

People can be such a pain in the arse, say one thing do another!

I sold some Surf recaros on ebay recently, only got 1 bid on them for £100 + P&P. The guy kept saying he was gonna pay, after 3 weeks I thought sod ya, so I relisted them............sold for £280 + P&P......Result! Turns out it was the same guy using another ID. That'll teach him, should of paid on time in the first place lol.

Anyway it may turn out in your favour in the end, although it can be a pain in the backside at the time.

i will give him till 10am and then i will be buying new pipework to set the drainage up again from the filter.If he turns up or arranges to come down then i will be charging extra for the money i have had to spend to put everything back

yea but your that short you can just walk straight under the truck now as if it was up on hydrolic ramps..

I ordered an escape ladder to roll out the driver's door so i can get in and out cos when the back end is done and i put some tension back in the torsion bars it will be even higher

as your starting to get a bit older now Andy i would just invest in a Stannah now before they get to dear so you can get in and out the truck

I'm pee'd off at the moment, canstantly attempting to find a comfortable position as I managed to do my back in night before last, driving me round the twist, ironically, the only comfortable place I've found for a sitting position is the surf seats .

Very annoying when people don't pitch up and don't bother to phone. Waited in for someone who definitely wanted to buy our Volvo 440 and they didn't pitch up. What a waste of time. Next time I advertise, its first come first serve.

Have never actually sold anything through fleebay or the like but can imagine how anoying this sort of thing must be .

this person is on the forum and i am rather peed off as its just cost £30 just to replace parts to set the filter up again plus the time i spent last night taking it all apart and cleaning it ready for him.I won't be taking it all apart next time to save time as it will be done on the day and they will have to wait for it all to be dismantled and cleaned ready
