'Toyota Navigation System' ?????

Greetings fellow surfers!

I've just become the proud owner of a tidy '95 3.0 SSR-X Ltd in black. I love it already

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions, but the first one is, what is the big box under the passenger seat that says Toyota Navigation System on it? It's disconnected

I think it's the Toyota navigation system.

being serious for a moment, some surfs ( and one I had ) had a "naviboy" compass thingy. I had a toyo nav system box under the seat as well. Never bleedin worked though ...it seemed to point towards Tokyo all the time.

it was probably the Jap in car satnav stuff which won't work over here

I've got a digital compass, altimeter, thermometer and some other gauge in my surf, so far I've found it completely useless!! Well worth having that big lump of micro processor onboard!!
