    ok i am a donkey on the 2 nd i posted a thred about replaceng my steering idler what i ment to post was steering dampener as i replaced the idler for the mot well back to what i ment to ask was steering dampener/s what afrer markket danpeners have the rest of you/s put on your surfs i see the old man emu and the ruftrx one ont on the yotatec site i seen on that was spring returned well what one is best as i just put 33x12.5x15 komko's on on friday i have just had the surf up and down a 5 mile old drovers track so i did not have bump steer but i would just like to fit a beter steering dampener before i go to drum clog or up to the forest drive at argyle

    I've fitted the Roughtrax one, it's made a hell of a difference but then my old one was knackered!

    I'm running 33x12.5 BF Goodrich Mud Terrains.

      i have not noticed a difference from the 265x70x15's but would like to get a new one before heading off road for a full days mud plugging

                If your any good with a welder and an angle grinder and have a couple of pro comps lying around you would be better off fabbing up something like this.

                    Mine are a bit bigger than that 44 x 18.5 x 15.

                          I got the procomp one, running 33's, works fine, easy to fit, you might have to jack the crossmember to get the fitting bolt through.

                              do the brackets come with the dampener of did you have to make/or get them from some ware else
