    I have aquired some milner heavy duty rear springs . They are about 1 inch shorter than standard springs, is this right ?

    That don't sound right to me, if anything they should be longer, unless you like a surf with a saggy arse
    I NEEED MUD.....and Welsh spring water!!!

      they seem stiffer than standard. maybe they compress up less ?

        its ok, you should see how short +2" 3rd Gen rear springs are compared to stock

        they are much thicker metal.

          A late reply but, yes, they're fine. I remember thinking the same when I changed mine over.

            Hi mine are thicker and taller than the standard springs but i did get them 5 years ago perhaps they have changed the steel they use in makeing them.
