  • 4-runner higher then Surf?

    we went out for a bit of a treck last night, while parked up in KFC we had a look arround my 4-runner and mates surf, 4 runner looks about an inch higher then the surf? can onyone clarify on this? (Standard)

    the rear springs on his truck may be knackered or your truck may have newer springs or lifted a bit before you got it
    Measure from the lip of the wheel to the underside of the wheel arch and it should be about 13.5"

      could you clarify on the landcruiser lift option
      heard alot about springs sagging?

        You can buy the landcruiser springs from www.milneroffroad.com they are the hd j80 springs which i think is the import one.
        Then fit the plus 3-4" shocks TonyN will be able to give advice of the best place to buy
        Extended braided brake lines from roughtrax
        either adjustable panhard rod or get panhard drop bracket.
        Free wheeling hubs to save wear on front cv joints
        2" ball joint spacers from Surfenstein and then crank torsion bars up an inch to level the truck.You may want diff spacers aswell but that comes down to the individual with those.
        2" body lift and then you got a 5" total lift

        The lancruiser springs will give the surf an instant 3-4" suspension lift.

                    Here Stormy http://www.bearmach.com/ . They are very helpfull. They did mostly landrover stuff before but have extended their range to all vehicles as far as shockers go.

                          Think for 2 standard shocks (es9000's), with boots,delivered was just under 90 quid.
