      Welcome!

Another lurker!...When I got my first Surf, about 6 years ago I lurked around the site, but didnt get involved. Got my 3.0 just over a year ago, did a bit more lurking, but finally got involved. Great crowd, .Get involved! .....Carlsberg dont do Hilux Surf forums, but if they did , it would be just like this one ! ....Cheers....Mick.

              Thanks for the welcomes!
Looking forward to doing a 2" sus lift and adding a pair of Kumho KL71's at some point, need to save the old ££ first though!

I see fonecrusher1 got a pair of 265/75R16 with standard lift, how big could you go with a 2" sus lift on standard 16" rims? 305/70 R16?

                Welcome!

Not a clue about the tyres but I suspect you've got the wrong end of the stick with how the size is calculated in metric form.

                This should help: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/cattermole/tyres.htm

That's roughly a 33 X 12 tyre. You'll need at least 2" body. 2" suspension to run them and probably more. You'll also need more offset on the rims. Not much experience with this so do some more research.

I'll keep it simple I think and go for the 265/75R16 or 285's + 2" sus lift, anyone got the 285/75R16 on a 3rd gen out of interest?
