rear window pcb going bleep?

alright guys .after my rear window failed to work properly and i could hear a clicking noise from inside the back i was told on the forum that the rear window had a relay stuck on a pcb behind one of the rear panels.i took the old pcb of my 2nd gen to have a look and then removed the one off my 1st gen thinking i could just swap them around but alas they were different so plan a was tits up.i then reconected the original pcb to my 2nd gen but now when i tried to close my window the feckin thing goes beep adee beep.am i jinxed cos think my head is going.thats all i did was unconect it and reconect it
