Actually, they *do* work. In the sense that they can detect where a TV is being used.

Feckin great big metal detetctor.

He's gonna drive round fileds with it switched on, and instead of simply detecting metal, he's gonna tear it all out of the ground. The ferrous stuff anyway - then he'll be able to go over the field with a conventional metal detector safe in the knowledge that everything left is gold or silver!

(Or aluminium, or stainless steel...)

then forgot about it, till months later when i get a court summons for no tv license,

rang up court clerk you directed me to tv license crowd, anded up have to pay 18months arrears which work out at nearly €400, and got away without having to go to court

there are also natural elements in the soil that i can take out or put in
this can save the farmer years in rotation of crops
its not has simple has that but thats how it works
