I hope so George. Various parts of the electromagnetic spectrum from DC to a few micrometers wavelength has been my day job for the last 20 or so years

George I am thinking this latest plan of yours is a bit more hightec than gritting the floor of your surf with sand and paint.

            Yeah, go for it.

As far as low frequency magnetic fields go, most of my recent experience has been in detection / measurement rather than generation, though I do generate small ones from around 20Hz upwards, of up to around 140dBpT (~2 watts) in order to test effect on other items.

DC fields work a little differently though.

AND funnily enough, I'm sitting in front of equipment right now, doing just that!

                they do
but they travel just about the same and thats what most this is about

detecting the wave is part of it
all tho iam not at that stage yet i will be soon
thanks mate i will be asking more off ya in the near futuer

                      bluddy hurt it now

so i will make it lighter today or in the mornning

and its not what i was looking for
its a magnetic rock? its a magnet all on its own
its realy got a pull not much but metal sticks to it
i have lumps of it here very strange stuff

                          could very well be

were ever this rock came from to get to the surface
its came from deep in the earth to have a magnetic field like that
realy deep or it formed when the poles were switching one or other in it

with the full use of a wooden stick
if it works i'll stand fluking

Probably just contains some ferrous metal or other.

But you would need a whole street of opposing magnets to make a hover board work correctly.
