Surf Model Variations

Does anyone have any general information on model variations (X, G, Ltd, others??), generation revision dates, etc. e.g. minimum specs for each variation (or does that depend on previous owners 'custom-build' requirements pre import??)

Which is the higher end spec, X or G??

I have an early 2 door model, fairly basic with usuals (aircon, e/w, e/m, variable suspension, rear window motor, etc) but..
No sun-roof
No rear passenger heater controls
No body styling (wheel arches)
Lap belts only for rear passengers

Just asking out of interest as I may be looking to upgrade or modify this vehicle in limited ways

G is higher than X, but to be honest there is little point choosing a surf on the model number. As you mention there are so many optional extra's that you can getting a "lower" model with same or better extras than a "higher" model.
