  • anyone still buying breakers?

    Hi lads n lasses,
Its me! Im back!! Im Broken. Well not me exactly, but the trusty old smurf has possibly just blown the head I think....
So... it it has, anyone in the market for an otherwise fine surf?

I was trundling up Fish Hill near Broadway, when the temp shot into the red. Pulled over, found the lower rad hose had come off. Using the crap 'yota tool kit, we managed to remove the bash plate and fix the hose. refilled and burped but she now just keeps pressurising he cooling system - and we all know what that usually means don't we....

Im not selling her until I know for sure what the problem is.. but if and when I do, i'll tranfer this to the sales section and pay my dues... i'm guaging interest at present.

    So, heres the spec:

J reg 1992, 160k on the clock - mix of miles and km.
    burgundiddly
3k miles per year last 4 years,
in that time, recent to old:
    New high power starter motor
    new rear exhaust section
    new altenator
    new batteries (high power)
    new higher spec rad
4 Kumo road venture AT 30/70s with 4k miles on them
    new glow pugs 3k ago
    new fuel pump
    cam belt change at 150k
    extended shocks front and rear
20% uprated springs (which Growler helped me fit)
    originally serviced by TonyN
self serviced with new filters etc every 3k
has run on bio for a few years in the summer months
did get drowned in a ford a few years back and rescued by a 110 County (yes, very funny, read the threads....)

old fuel pump just needs the solenoid thingy replaced apparently
There is no air con rad and the air con has been taken out, but i still have it

So, any idea of breaking worth etc? anyone interested - it'll drive about 10 miles between pressure incidents! I'm in Worcester just off the M5 J6/7
