Got It!!
Picked my surf up today, first thoughts...................... .............................. .............................. ..........sorry just wiping the smile off my face, in one word brilliant, chuffed to bits with it, not bad condition bodywise, inside a bit dirty but a good clean tomorrow will sort that out, mechanically very sound, loads of receipts including one for the head replacing 18 months ago, fingers crossed it will all be ok.
It wanders a bit but im putting that down to the 33" kumhos, kept it around 65mph all the way from bristol to wakefield and it used £35 diesel so quite good i think.
only 3 problems to report
1. fuel gauge not working
2. speedo still in kph (used the speedo on the sat nav)
3. rear window a bit hit and miss
And still smiling
