nowt to do with surfs

tiz not mine
but tiz making a loud squeeking noise from the front passager wheel
its real high pitched noise sounds good at this time of night

any ideas any one i know nowt about cars but i got to fix it coz
its not mine ya see

Wheel bearing?

Is it constant, under braking, under steering or what?

Does the pitch change with engine revs or at different speeds?

tiz just very loud and constant
it only makes this noise when moveing
tiz not on the engine tiz on the running gear
piston stuck maybe
its only done 10.000 miles (but its 8 years old) so i cant see it being a bearing
well i hope not
i'll have to wip it off and have a look at the brakes n stuff
when i feel well i'll have a look
or i may bride a mate to do it

The brake pads may have wear warning springs on them. these touch the discs long before the pad wears out and screech as a warning to look at the brakes.
