We had a mk2 Zephyr. Dad swapped the engine for a 5.0 mustang. Sat in the garage for years! I have some nice photos of that somewhere.

Good Lord, had some fun in one of those when I was young and didnt know better. Went like hell on the straight and fell over on the bends

Had one like that i put in e type engine and overdrive g/box sprayed up black with old english white roof and decal on back saying{RUN BABY RUN} and boy would it run and never fell over in corners would just drift with lovely black lines but couldnt keep up with tyres. Nostalgia time over

Really sad but , yes The Specials did use a black 1961 PA Cresta reg no. 4218RO in the video Ghost Town . Vehicle is still on DVLA registar but not taxed or SORN .
