i went to fit my ebay body lift yesterday, all went well only to discover you need 4 long bolts for the back four mounts and they only supply 2 so today i have been driving everywhere to try and find suitible bolts but to no joy, so now im removing the blocks as i need to use the surf and im having loads of joy trying to line the body back up as its moved to the side abit with all the jacking and lowering. All this hassle to end up where i started

I have one of those kits here to fit to another Lexurf, all the bolts are here, maybe it was a packing error at the supplier.
To be honest, you could have replaced all the others and tightend them up leaving the rear ones with just the original bolts dropped down through just to hold them in place, then go out and get some bolts or threaded bar.
Thats what I would have done anyway.

No harm in it, the body wil be bolted on via eight bolts anyway, you're not going off road or doing any donuts in Lidl's carpark untill you get the rear bolts, are you!

right then, ive put the lift BACK in and just dropped the short bolts into the rear boot mounts and ive put the rad drop in and unbolted the hand brake cable, what else do i need to do appart from bumper lift, also the transfer box wont come out of high so i need to look at that, but ive been rained off for the moment

You'll probably find the transfer lever is touching the edge of the hole in the floor, just file a section out to allow the lever to be pulled back.

100% agree with Bushwhacker here, that is what I would have done but can also see where you are coming from in trying to put it back to stock if you think it has gone wrong and are unsure as to how safe it is, bottom line is the bolts are on there way so you will have it sorted in a couple of days.Neal

tommorows jobs are file away at chassis so i can get it out of high, make bumper lift plates and take the steering appart again so i can drop the big bulkhead plate in order to keep the rubber seal as "sealy" as possible
also what does everybody do about the fuel filler hose as its just on the ends at each end and seems abit dodgey to me
