  • Oil Again!

There is many references on here over the doubt about the 'correct' oil for diff's and transmission.
The 'sticky' states rear diff oil,
    above 18 deg.c. Sae 90,
    below, 18 deg.c. 80w-90.
Does anybody actually change their oil when we finally hit the balmy Summer days, or is there a general concensus, that you make your choice and stick with it.?
The other day, after changing the rear bearing seals and bearing, (absolute mare), I topped up with 80-90, however, now the more I research, the more I doubt! Should I have used 90, or was I right? I now find myself asking the same question over and again!
I throw this to the floor!
