1993 2.4 auto radiator under sump

hello fellow surfers.just bought a 1993 2.4 auto surf which has a water leak.while havin a squint under the engine looking for the afore mentioned leak i removed a plate from under the sump and found radiator under there.can you please tell me what purpose this serves as my last surf did'nt have one.seems like a daft place to put a rad.it looks like a nightmare to take off.cheers peeps need to find leak a.s.a.p

its the air con rad. And is a complete PITA where it is.

hi mate its for the air con and yes its a silly place to put it especially if you intend to go off road .i took all my air con out before i trashed it with mud .mmmm must remember to try n sell it on e/bay .all the best .steve

cheers guys ,not planing to do any off roading,just use her for work.would you recomend removing the rad anyway.is this a pain in the aaaarse 2 do.looks like the leak is coming from behind it.
