I started dismantling a Subaru forester at the weekend for spare parts.
cost be a couple bottles of whiskey for the car and borrowing trailer to get it.
going to keep most of the sensors and some suspension and exhaust parts for my forester.
The engine, well one of heads is knackered, stripped a spark plug.
it wont be a rolling shell, as i am removing so many sus/brake parts, so i may have to cut the shell in two to get it onto my trailer at the end.
I will be removing engine and transmission before then
What do people normally do about bodyshell after removing all the bits they want. Do scrap dealers give you cash for them? for scrap metal?
