2nd gen side lights

Other than the orange bump for the indicator, are both types of the 2nd gen. side lights interchangeable?

I'm attempting a mash-up of styles to make something unique (unless someone has already done it or until someone copies me!)

If it works out I'll post some pics!

if you mean will pre facelifted headlamps and sidelamp/indicators fit in a post facelifted surf then the answer is no.unless you changed the front wings and front clip.

No, that's not what I meant but thanks for the reply.

I want to fit new indicators to the side of the bumpers (and possibly to the edges of the wing mirrors like some of the newer vehicles?!) to replace the bulge and then change ONLY the side lights to the newer type thus essentially only shifting the indicators elsewhere.

That way it will;

Look individual,
Have indicators that are actually visible on the road in the day time,
Allow me to fit after market items like headlight covers etc.

I just fancied doing something different, that's all!
