ive recently been perusing the ol internet for a set of clear tail lights for my mk2 surf! now ive come across a website that sells em for what they say is a mk3 "AUG 89 - AUG 97" that in itself seems a little odd! but my question is - would mk3 tail lights fit onto a mk2 because they do seem very similar!?

the surf is known as 1st gen- 2nd gen- 3rd gen so mk3 at the year you say does not correspond. 89 - 96 is 2nd gen surf(\__/)
