  • Mig, Tig and plasma cutter in one. To good to be true?

    Hi Guys,
    I found this on ebay:

Anyone ever used this or know much about it?

    Cheers

It's tat mate, the transfomer will burn out if it ever runs long enough to do any work.

A decent hobby TIG starts at double that.

As for a MIG you want at least 160amp with a decent duty cycle, so again avoid far east rubbish.
30amp to 160amp range in a decent make should do all you need for a Surf and off road mods.

If you are restoring a lot of body panels you might want to look for one that goes down to 20amp.

As for the TIG I assume for aluminium or stainless both can be done with a good MIG and a change of gas and wire and torch liner.

A Plasma would be so nice to have but a bit price you also need an air line to run a proper Plasma. I use cutting wheels and files

Jack of all trades, Master of none.

      I reckon it'll suck at all 3.
I've got a plan and it's as hot as my pants!
