As has been pointed out to me many times on this very forum, spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax are apparently irrelevant on the internet.

Bit off topic from original thread but this is actually something that is bugging me today....
I can only speak for myself here but there is nothing worse than receiving a badly spelled and put together email of introduction (someone is after my job over here), it just puts the individual concerned in a bad light in regards to first impressions etc. Im certainly not the most eloquent person by any means, however if you can be bothered to type something and send it you should spend the extra second to check it before it goes.
Hell the folk that cant speak much English send better correspondence than i received today!

With a few exceptions, it's either ignorance or arrogance. Most folk only use about 500 words; it's not hard learn to spell them properly?

I do try to check my spelling before sending or replying to post etc.I know my punctuation is not brilliant as i was never any good at it in school.I do try to spell correctly though.
I was c rap at maths in school also but when i left school and started playing darts in my local my maths improved really really well, so everyone can learn easy enough if they want to, but its ignorance mostly that people can't be bothered to learn or even check in most cases on their spelling

Got to say my maths is rubbish, always had a bit of a problem seeing numbers correctly...sounds strange but dont quite know how to describe it.....
Anyhow as im working with a lot of figures now it is getting better (trying to not use a calculator anymore, but running out of fingers!), i was never good on the subject and i remember the mathematics teacher being of a 'not good at trigonometry ....oh well just be quiet then' school of thought.
Certainly not critical of folk trying, is just when they dont try at all that bugs me, not really so much on here (as most folk know you a bit and if you are having a sausage fingers day...well they can give you a bit of slack), but on sites like ebay when its obvious that they just dont care what impression they make.

It was just that i have a customer in Pavia and thought that when it comes to sending the wheels and tyres if it would of been easier and quicker to Send to Maria and you collect from there.I sent a large package on the 2nd and its arrived today.As your so far away it will be easier to send direct to you.
Plus Maria is having some probs sending me a package aswell as she's not allowed to send food

Ah..... the joys of Posta Italia.... on a par with the telepone company!.
Seriously tho they can be a bit of a mare and it would have been good just to pick the wheels up and save the extra cost etc but its not really economical to go all the way there and back. If you like (bit convoluted...and depends what she is sending but...), she can sent it to Holli and i down here (prob next day), and i will pop it in the Brit system and it should be with you in a week (mail gets picked up here on Tue/Thu), if thats any help? bet you never thought you would have two customers in Italia!
