Hi all,just thought to say hello. Im new to 4x4 and the surf,but got the bug already.A friend may be selling his surf so im learning all i can. Only got a grand to spend so its prob the 2.4 for me. My friend hasnt had the dreaded head prob? He seems to think the head on his surf is specifically for turbo models and that some early models had heads fitted which were not up to the additional stresses of the turbo? Is this true?

Ermmm nope.
It was design fault on some of the heads. It may be his head had already been changed at some point for the newer designed head, hence he has had no problems.Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.
