The Eden Project at Easter

Stormforce has kindly given me some accomodation contacts for near the eden project, just wondered what would be the best day to visit during easter week ? Iknow the weekend will be busy so thought we would travel down Easter monday as many would be leaving ? any guidance would be most welcome !

It is a domed structure where extra terrestrials are kept in captivity, Cornwall's answer to Area 51

I think during the holidays most days are busy but get there early on any day and you should be able to get through the domes without the crowds.
Get there for opening time

john isnt easter monday a bank holiday? bank holidays are normally busy to & from cornwall.
best days use to be tues/weds/thurs for travelling as most people come down or return home mon/fri/sat.
when at the biomes it's best to do the one on the left as thats the hottest one first. you will find drinking basins every so often & half way round a emergency shelter when you by that follow path to left then when you get to the top you will be by water fall great place for cooling down.
alot of people do the biome on the right first alot cooler but up to you which way you decide to do first.
by the main entrance when you pay to go in youll find a landtrain which will take you down the hill to the biomes also it returns to main entrance save the walk down the hill as it can be a right bugger walking back up after visiting the biomes.
im right near the eden project about 2 miles so if you want to call in for a coffee your more than welcome as you basically pass me anyway to get there.
if you havent been to eden project before im sure you will enjoy it

Depends on which way John goes to get to Eden tho Will.If he goes the A30 then yes he'll pass you but if he goes via Truro then he wont

Hello Will long time no speak !Looks like I will be getting some visiting in while down there ? you guys will have to pm me your phone numbers then when I get lost I know where to get a coffee !!!We thought that coming down Monday we would be arriving as many would be going back home, have a day at Eden and another day to wander local then possibly head back North on Thursday, better get Tyzacks rung or will be back to Rich for more numbers !

A few years ago my daughter was at the Eden project while on holiday in Cornwall. As she was walking round her boyfriend called her over to a tree and told her to read the name plate. She could not make out what it said because it was in Latin. When she turned back round the boyfriend was on one knee with a open ring box. He had had a name plate made which said
Will you marry me, but in Latin. She burst in to tears and said yes. Rang her Mum, in tears still, going on about Adam and his knee. The wife thought he had fallen off he bike and done something to his knee and was in hospital. It was not until my daughter had calmed down she worked out what she was on about.
They are now married.

there's a private carpark for Tyacks aswell John so your ok for parking aswell

Booked, deposit paid,come down monday the 5th staying three nights at TYACKS hotel (only taken me three attempts to spell it correctly) so will have to go and get my Salon all clean and sparkly so Will and Rich can laugh at me
