  • Where to buy?

Hi all, anyone know a good place to buy 32/10.50 tyres to fit the standard 15" rims on the surf?.
Local tyre places say that getting them will be a special order and will add up on the costs, so thinking of trying internet sites for prices.
I got my 2" body lift kit today so hopefully going to fit it very soon and then will turn to get new tyres on it.

btw, 32's will fit ok with a 2" body lift right??

p.s just looking for AT tyres, not mud ones.

In my experience you get the best service from local family owned garages rather than the big Kwik-Euro-Tyre. By the time you add on tyre disposal (you should use a specialist waste company to dispose of them) and fitting, balancing, etc (unless you do that bit yourself) the money you save buying tyres mail order stop being quite as good a proposition.

I'm sure other folks will contribute their opinions shortly!

I think 32's are an odd/rare size. Im sure they exsist but expect to pay a lot for them as they are not common. Most common sizes around that size are 31's and 33's. 33's would be too big for you though if you only have a 2" body lift.
Try searching to the 31" instead. Also what type of tyre are you after??
My old 31" Kumho (KL17??) cost about £60 each.
      Windows 7 was my idea!

I got some 32" Pirelli's from Silverline. They do mail order.

I have in the past bought 33's, and they only actually measured 32"

khumo and the bfg's are the best tyres so i would go for either of those.I have been running 33" khumo mt's for the last 3 years and they have lasted very well

              Hello Peter.
We still need to know what you want the tyres for, be it off roading or on roading or a combination of both?

Been looking for some myself and they are more rare than the other sizes as already mentioned. If you are after M/T's then Silverline do the Cooper STT in 265x75x15 whiche equates to 32". I have spoken to a few places and some can get 32's for a price, and some have told me there is no such size in the UK!! You will need to phone around for the best price, but you can get them,

                Cheers, Nick

I got them from Roughtrax but it seems i got the price wrong or they have gone up in price?

Probably not the cheapest place for tyres but i bought lots of other things from them at the time so i just included them in the delivery.
If it purely for on road only then your choice is almost endless. It would all come down to Budget at then end of the day.
If however you want a tyre that is great on road as well as off roadthen i would definately suggest the BFG's! they last for ever and feel like a normal road tyre on the road and are awsome for most avergae off roading tasks.

lol cheers anyway mate , the prices at roughtrax seem ok, i'll shop around a bit more. I may settle on the 31/10.5's as they seem easier to get hold of, wanted 32's mostly to make most of the body lift but i think the 31's will still look and feel good.

the 50/50 tyres i think will be my choice so BFGs or the grabber AT2's seem to have good reviews of them.
