  • I did a search...honest.

About rear window problems, but could not find the necessary answer.Apologies in advance if I have ballsed up.....

Uk Spec,96 Forerunner. The rear/tailgate window works on the switch in the cab, but the key wont turn the lock in the tailgate.I stripped the door down today and removed the lock for a bench clean and lube, still solid, the key won`t begin to turn it....and yes,i` am using the right key........

I`m crap with electrics, anybody know the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

Will it solve the problem though? If so, then I need to get it working.

I seem to recall a lot of talk about the regulater going on these vehicles,is that not the problem in this case then, merely a fubarred lock?

A borked regulator won't stop the key turning in the lock.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's
