2nd gen steps

does anyone know if the 2nd gen side steps will fit a 1996 L/c Prado i could do with knowing asap if possible please

I don't know, but I doubt it. 96 Prado will be a 3rd gen chassis.

thats what i thought but wasn't sure as the steps actually bolt to the under body of the truck and not the chasis

I know 3rd gen steps are about four or five inches longer than 2nd gens, if that helps, but they do bolt on the same way.
