Does anyone know of a v6 surf being broken at all as they guy contacting me through ebay is desperate for a Air Flow Meter for his truck.Roughtrax don't do them and Toyota want £600 for one so if anyone can help with any info on the whereabout of a breaker it will be appreciated.I have also given the guy a link to the forum aswell so he may be along asking the same question

Truckarms is using a V8 AFM on his V6, don't know what it's from though.

If you find out the part number, I suspect there will be other Toyotas that use the same one.

No, it has to be a speedo from a four cylinder..

cut the lid off and have a look inside, often the arm slips over its stop pin and you can put it back easily.

My AFM was out of another 4runner not a v8, the ecu for the lpg was for a v8.

Good luck finding one, I think the last one that was available through this forum diabloturbo (or something similar) sold it, I think surfenstiens went ages ago.

I can recormend rock auto in america, they sell them and they are very helpfull, i have orderred a few parts from them over the last couple of years and they all turn up in a couple of days and they also have a good selection, I just had a quick look they are about 200dollars there which works out to about half the price they are over here.

If things get really desperate I have a "spare one" which has been abused a fair bit (lpg back fires etc) but I can lend that to you.

I have seen a v6 on ebay as a breaker going cheap at the moment but its in N Yorks
