OK then, this is what I believe so far ........
The 3rd Generation Surf 3.0 diesel is available in 2 models G & X, G having the higher spec.
There are two versions of the 3.0 diesel lump - a standard turbo and an intercooled turbo.
The 3rd gen can be used on tarmac in 4WD if necessary.
The questions are:
What is the difference between the X & G spec ?
What is the power output of the standard turbo and the intercooled version ?
Is cruise control available ?
What is the max permissible weight on the towball ?
Tomorrow we are looking for Surfs around Hants & Wilts - any suggestions for questions to ask or things to look out for ?
Apparently there is a guy in Southampton docks who sells direct (some sort of bonded setup I think) - does anybody know anything about him ?
There's bound to be other questions but I'm too knackered to think straight at the moment ...
