No. I sold my Rover last year without a log book. The new owner (if you trust them!) has to apply for a new log book at a cost of £25 (ish) and you as the prior owner remain responsible for any speeding tickets, parking fines, road tax, etc until it gets registered in someone elses name.Originally posted by TOYOTATONY View Post"No log book"...that's illegal now isn't it?
So, you're taking a hell of a risk by selling it without a log book if you ARE actually the registered owner. Personally, I'd be highly suspicious of a vehicle coming from a scrap metal business without one!!
