  • Cherished Number Plates

Just looking through some on Ebay and my main thought is, "Are these people taking the p*ss?"

Who in their right minds would pay £37,500 for a number plate that reads
    T11UAT?

It would take a big stretch of the imagination to come up with what he thinks it looks like!

Most of the plates beggar belief as to what the sellers think they comes across as.

Appropriately enough, it looks a lot like "T W A T" to me.

Yep, that's what it's supposed to be. Just wouldn't spring to mind if I saw a car with that reg. It would take some wierd distortion of the letters to make me see 'T*AT' straight away!

How about £50,000 for TUL 1E (JULIE)?

I followed a Golf this afternoon with the reg plate set out as K4NG V.
What the hell is that supposed to read I wondered.
I did see an E-Type about 15 years back with PEN15, which kinda works.
