parts are cheaper on here than what they are on ebay etc and i knock a bit more off on bigger orders also.If you get a list together ready for the Avalanche off road weekend in July then i can bring them with me

I'm just awaiting my workshop manual (correct one now ordered!) & I shall make up a list. I need to check it over for it's mot in April. It's 20yrs old & been garaged for most of it by the look. Diesel engine with only 40k on the clock. I couldn't believe it so I had to buy it. So hopefully will pass with no probs.

Not done any work on cars before but common sense prevails so happy to give it a go.

I definitely need a rear wiper, maybe the motor too but don't know until I have the arm to try it! By the Avalanche weekend it'll be a birthday treat to myself.

I've always got a truck in breaking anyway so if there's anything you want me to put aside let me know
I do have a green over silver truck in now if theres anything you need from this one before it goes

I definitely need the rear wiper & prob the wiper motor too to be on the safe side, to fit a 1990 Hreg 2.4TD. Other than that a couple of 235/r15 tyres.

Amazingly though the body work is brilliant. Only two very tiny chips i need to touch up. Chrome work is all good no dents etc. Until I get the manual I won't know about the engine really but it all looks tidy.

In fact the only thing that isn't working is the sunroof. Motor goes & makes all the right noises but it will only go back a couple of inches. There seems to be a couple of small wooden blocks under it, not sure why, but feel this will need further investigation at some point. It's not leaking & got A/C so not too worried at the mo.

I think the sunroof's mechanism has a problem with the winding gear which on some trucks it has played up in the past but its not a common fault with them tho.If needs be i can get a complete sunroof from one of the trucks and bring to avalance for you for say £40.

I'll make sure i got a decent sunroof for Avalanche for you.If you want to make sure with yours there's not a simple fix in the meantime then at least you'll know for certain

Ah yes, but with the mot due in April I may need some bits, other than that, before then.
