Being a man who knows about such things - is it possible to spray small areas of Toyota metallic paint (specifically 8E3 Dark blue pearl) with an airbrush?
I've got a Sealey AB931 in my draw of compressed air stuff. On the box it says; 0.3mm fine tip nozzle, working pressure 15-45psi @ 0.4-0.8cfm. I thought I might try it instead of spray cans, with both paint & laquer. There are a few scratches that need attention after the Mrs did the tipover before Christmas.

Yes you can. I use my cheapie airbrush for touching in scratches/repairs all the time. Much better flow/control than a rattle can.

I've always been afraid to try this, as I presumed the new paint wouldn't match the faded original paint.
Or, is it all in the technique?

Speaking of paint, what would i be looking at for a blowover on mine, just out of interest.

Off to walk the dog now, be back in 1 hour.
If its not broke don't fix it.
